Here are some quick weight loss tips that you can utilize to help you achieve your fitness, health and exercise goals.1. Alcohol Intake - Plan for it! If you know you are going to a party that night, then make sure your food intake for that day is really good and healthy. Alcohol should be treated like fat; that it takes approximately 9 calories to burn 1 gram of fat. If you want to drink, stay away from the high calorie eggnog and stick to the lighter colored liquors (vodka, gin) or have red wine.2. Fruit Juices - Watch out for those fruit juices because they have a lot of sugar and empty calories. If you have to drink fruit juice, then do half water/soda water and fruit juice.3. Workout Prior - Exercise prior to going to your party, function or dinner because it is an appetite suppressant, and you will still be burning calories afterwards (EPOC). The calories being burned afterwards are the processes of the body getting you back to a steady state (aka After-burn effect).4. Making Food - Make enough food to feed whomever is present. If you only make enough, then there is no reason to go back for seconds. If you want to have leftovers, then pack them up and put them in the refrigerator before you serve dinner.5. After Dinner Walk - After you eat, go take a small walk to aid in digestion. This small amount of movement is just enough to take away that extremely full feeling that you get when you scarf down that meal.
