Portland Personal Trainer | Make small changes to your diet

You do not have to go overboard when you are starting out on a new food plan or diet. The key to being successful at altering the way you eat is to implement small changes, versus going all out and setting yourself up for failure. For example, if you love to eat rice with most of your meals, rather than eating white rice ask for brown rice. A lot of restaurants are now carrying brown rice, so when they have that option, take it. If you are like me, I love to eat tortillas, but eating the white flour ones creates water retention and takes away from keeping that definition, so I needed to find another option. So I switched to brown rice tortillas which have more fiber, are gluten free and are just overall better for you. Both of these options taste great and are good when you are trying to eat healthier. Thanks,Kisar DhillonThe Portland Personal Trainer The Art of Personal Training by Kisar Dhillon107 SE Washington Street, Suite 137Portland, Oregon 97214(503) 953-0241
