Portland Personal Trainer | Getting Fit for The Holidays | Portland, Oregon

The holiday's are coming and we all know what that means, a lot of eating, drinking, parties, and just having a grand ol' time. This does not mean you need to stop all of your activity, but a lot of people do. They come up with the same excuses every year, I am just going t enjoy these next two months and just have a good time and I will start back in the New Year. During that time frame, they might gain anywhere from an extra 5 to 20 pounds, depending on how much they are eating and how many parties they are going too. It may seem like a lot of weight to gain in a short period of time, but believe me, I have seen people gain 9lbs in just one week from over indulging. Also, if you are going to be going away to see family and you are making some remarkable gains with your current health and fitness program and you want to keep the momentum going, then join a gym right when you get to your city you are going to be in. For example, we just had a client who needed to go back home for one month hand a family matter, so what we did is we went through out association, found them a trainer (after talking with a few) and now they are going to be training with that individual for the month they will be gone. Just because a circumstance or holiday gets in the way of life, does not mean you have to put your health on hold. The purpose of the blog posts is to remember to stay active no matter what time of the year it is. Yes, we know the kids are going to be home for Holiday vacation, but you can still get in a great workout somewhere. If you are working with  fitness professional or Portland personal trainer, then schedule your sessions when your family is sleeping or when they are doing activities. The Art of Personal Training by Kisar Dhillon107 SE Washington Street, Suite 137Portland, Oregon 97214503-953-0241
