Portland Oregon Fitness Trainer Kisar| Weightlifting Techniques

Weight lifting is all about angles. Just like when we took geometry in school, weight lifting can be implemented the same way. If you were to place the human body in anatomical position on an x/y axis grid and did exercises, you would see that the angles the body makes are close to 90 degrees. For example when doing shoulder or bench press, the elbows should stop at 90 degrees, which also stop at the 180 degree mark on the x axis. If you want to learn more about angles, positioning, tension and movement I would suggest taking a biomechanics course - well worth it.Thanks,Kisar
