Portland Fitness | Take action and get physically fit and healthy

It is New Years day and you either telling yourself you can cheat one more day with food and festivities, or today is the day you are going to start your transformation for the year. The first thing you need to do is have a goal in mind and then pick a way that you want to achieve that goal. Do you want to a join a fitness gym, hire a professional personal trainer, or join a walking/running club. Whatever the choice you decide to make, you need to make sure that you are going to do this for the long haul, because it is a commitment that you are embarking on. There is "no I will do this next week" or "when I come back from that vacation". You need to stick to your guns and lets make this happen; like someone else's life depends on you succeeding at accomplishing this fitness goal.  Even though I want you to start out of the gates running, I want you also to create weekly and monthly goals that will keep you on track.
