Personal Trainer Portland | The Elliptical Cardio Machine

The elliptical trainer is a great piece of cardiorespiratory equipment, but the mistake the people make when exercising on them is that they don't increase the resistance (make it more challenging). Sometimes you will see people on them with the resistance set at level one and they do that every day, and then they complain that they are not seeing any results. Well, when there isn't any challenge being placed on the body, then nothing is going to happen. Yes, doing something is better than nothing, but in order to create the results you really want, you are going to need to work in a training zone that is going to make you sweat, heat up create caloric expenditure.  Also, if all you do is cardio, you are not doing any of your muscles any good. You will lose  certain amount of muscle every year until you die, so we want to keep or increase that muscle mass so we can have a great metabolism, support our bone structure and be able to do our daily functions.
