Personal Trainer Portland Oregon | Fiber| Food Intake | Nutrition

Did you know that a Portland personal trainer, certified nutritionists and even famous chefs cannot give exact food plans to clients, customers or fans? In addition, this is the LAW! The reason being is that the only person that can give an exact food plan, diet or eating regimen is a Registered Dietitian who has passed their boards with the American Dietetic Association. Even when you look at the famous food gimmicks, latest fads or even weight loss companies, all of their food programs and diet plans are all reviewed and/or created by registered dietitians of medical doctors who specialize that specific field of study. What we can do is ask clients very good questions about their food habits, keep a food journal and come up with better options to make their food intake better, cleaner and more well rounded in order for them to lose weight, decrease body fat and to help them feel better. One of the best pieces of advice I have received from my professors, books and dietitians is that a lot of Americans do not get enough fiber in their diet or meals. Why? Because most individuals intake a lot of processed foods that are easy to prepare and they can eat them on the go. When clients ask for ways to improve their food intake, the one piece of advice I give them is that make sure they have enough fiber in their diet. We don't tell them an exact amount, but we relay the information to them so they can start adding vegetables or roughage that can help get that process started. It is not normal for an individual to have a bowel movement every few days, this is not good! You should be having a bowel movement more frequent than that, and when you start eating better and getting good sources of fiber from fresh fruits and vegetables, you body will start working like a healthy machine. If you are looking for ways to improve your diet and the function of your gastrointestinal tract, we would recommend consulting a registered dietitian and/or a gastrointestinal doctor who may have some great dietitians on staff to help you with this. In addition, when your food intake is starting to improve and you are consistent with an exercise program or working with your personal trainer Portland Oregon or fitness professional, you will see results in a more timely manner. The Art of Personal Training by Kisar Dhillon107 SE Washington StreetSuite 137Portland, Oregon 97214503-953-0241
