So you need help with your New Years Resolution and it involves losing a certain amount of weight inches before the upcoming Spring Break! Well, one of the best things you can do is write those goals down and put them in the presence tense like they have already come to fruition. By doing this, you are taking ownership of these goals and if you look at them everyday, they will always stay in your mind! Put the list of goals on your mirror or somewhere that you are forced to look at them everyday. I firmly believe that a lot of individuals fail at the New Year's Resolutions because they fail to plan what they actually want to achieve. They don't know where they want to end up at, how many inches off their waist they want or what size of jeans they want to wear! Be very specific about the goal (s) you want to achieve and then break it down by the timeline you want to make these goals happen. The rule of thumb is don't set yourself up for failure. Meaning, be realistic with the goals and timeline. You want to make the goals challenging, but at the same time, the timeline you want to achieve them in needs to make sense.
