Personal Trainer | Kisar Dhillon | Women need to do weight training

Women should do weight training at minimum, two to three days per week. I know they are concerned that if they lift weights they are going to get too bulky, but if you are going to lift for hypertrophy, then yes, you will get big, but you can create a program that will not let that happen.  With women prone to osteoporosis, it is essentially that they lift weights to maintain their bone density and that is created by placing stress on the muscle and tendons through weight training. Doing cardiorespiratory training is great for the heart, lungs and reducing body fat, but that is all that you do, then it will take away from the muscle mass that you already have. Thanks,Kisar Dhillon
