The elliptical trainer has been in the gym, fitness facilities, Portland personal trainer studios and homes for well over a decade, and they are still very popular! The question  is, Why are they so popular? The reason is that they provide a great experience, especially when it feels like you are on a ride. There are other advantages of using this piece of equipment: if you have certain joint or ailments that prevent you from running or performing certain types of movements, then this is a perfect exercise. But what tends to happen with the 99% of individuals who use these is that they do not know how to properly utilize them. Meaning, they do not know how to get an efficient workout and really capitalize on what this type of fitness device can offer.  Yes, moving is better than not doing any movement, but there are a few key tips you can use to make this exercise a real Calorie Fat Burning MachineElliptical Training Tips for a Better Workout1. Duration: Pick a duration that is out of your comfort zone2. Always pick the Manual Setting, because it is the most advanced setting!3.
